A tax export in MintValt: 16 deductible transactions coming to $6,823.70, listed by month with a subtotal for each, the pound amounts converted.

Where do you do it?

Mostly a laptop job: pick the year, check the list, send the file to whoever does your return.

The export page in MintValt on the web: download your data, and the tax export with its deductible transactions for the year.
The tax export in the MintValt app: pick a year, see what is deductible in it, and export a CSV.

Before you send it on.

What it gathers, and what it leaves to you.

The tax export: only transactions in categories you have marked tax deductible are included.
How do I export a report?
Pick the year and download it as a PDF or a spreadsheet. Your transactions export as a spreadsheet too.
Can I mark one transaction rather than a whole category?
Yes. Each transaction has its own tax-deductible switch, as well as the one on each category.
What if my expenses are in several currencies?
Each is converted at the rate on its own date. If any one cannot be converted, no total is shown rather than a wrong one.
Is this tax advice?
No. MintValt gathers the figures. What counts as deductible where you live is for you and your accountant to decide.

Next time taxes are due, the work is already done.

Upload this year's statements, and the deductions are found as they come in. Get in line now, and start the day your invite arrives.
