Payment day.
See how long your mortgage has left.
$1,100 goes to the mortgage, like every month. The line underneath is the one worth reading: about 19 years and 3 months to go, and $78,743.51 of interest still to pay.
Pay a little more and watch that number move.

Where do you look at the debt?
The payment going out is a glance on the phone. The years left, and what the interest costs, are worth reading slowly.

Before you look at the debt.
What it counts, and what it leaves alone.

- Why is there no minimum payment field?
- A card's minimum is a percentage of a balance that keeps changing, so no single figure could predict a payoff. MintValt reads the pace from what you actually pay instead.
- How soon does a card show a payoff estimate?
- After two months of history. Imported statements count, so a few past statements give you one straight away.
- Does it include interest?
- For a card, the interest charged is already in your transactions, so nothing extra is added. For a loan, the interest is worked out from its rate.
- Do debts lower my net worth?
- Yes. A card or loan balance is what you owe, and it is taken off your net worth.
On your next payment day, see when the debt ends.
Add the card or the loan, and see the payment, the rate and the months left. Get in line now, and start the day your invite arrives.
